This award recognizes the persistent efforts in environmental law compliance, technological investment, and the improvement of production and operational processes toward environmental friendliness, making positive contributions to the city's green and sustainable growth goals.

The awards were held under the direction of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, organized by Sai Gon Giai Phong Newspaper in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Union of Business Associations (HUBA).

The "Ho Chi Minh City Green Enterprise 2025" title aims to honor and encourage businesses to strictly implement waste treatment regulations, enhance research and technological investment, and improve production and operational processes. It also promotes corporate responsibility in environmental protection, contributing to building a city economy that develops in a green and sustainable direction.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nha, Vice General Director of EVNHCMC, stated that the Corporation's consistent orientation is to closely link the mission of ensuring a safe and stable power supply with environmental and social responsibility. The Corporation adopts green development, sustainable development, and digital transformation as the pillars of its long-term development strategy.

According to EVNHCMC’s leadership, "Green" is not just a slogan but a system of synchronized solutions implemented from governance and infrastructure investment to technical operations and customer service.

The title was awarded based on a comprehensive assessment of criteria, including environmental law compliance, waste management, energy efficiency, renewable energy development, socio-economic efficiency, and responsibility toward employees.

This recognition is not only a well-deserved acknowledgment of EVNHCMC’s persistent efforts to harmonize economic development, environmental protection, and social responsibility but also affirms the Corporation's role in accompanying the city in ensuring energy security, enhancing urban infrastructure quality, and improving the living environment for citizens.
