EVNNPC Chairwoman Do Nguyet Anh elected to Central Executive Committee of Vietnam Women's Union, 14th Term

Ms. Do Nguyet Anh, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the Northern Power Corporation (EVNNPC), was elected as one of the 111 members of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union for the 2026–2031 term.

On June 17–18, 2026, in Hanoi, the 14th National Congress of Vietnamese Women for the 2026–2031 term was held under the motto "Unity – Courage – Compassion – Creativity – Development."  The Congress was attended by 793 official delegates, representing women of all social strata, ethnic groups, religions, fields of work, and social components nationwide, along with 200 guests.

At the Congress, delegates elected the 14th Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, consisting of 111 members. Ms. Do Nguyet Anh, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of EVNNPC, was elected to the Executive Committee for the 2026-2031 term.

111 members of Central Executive Committee of Vietnam Women's Union for 2026–2031 term represent women from all walks of life, ethnic groups, religions, professions, and social sectors across the country.

In her capacity as Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of EVNNPC, Ms. Do Nguyet Anh has always paid attention to the work of building and developing human resources; Improving working conditions and caring for the material and spiritual well-being of cadres, employees, and workers. In particular, the Corporation focuses on training, planning, and utilizing female cadres, while creating favorable conditions for them to develop their capabilities in various fields.

Currently, EVNNPC has 7,018 female employees, accounting for 26.9% of its total workforce. The female workforce at EVNNPC works in various fields, including leadership, management, engineering, operations, business and customer service, investment and construction, finance, information technology, and digital transformation.

As part of Congress, Ms. Do Nguyet Anh participated in thematic discussion on "Role of Women in Economic Development and Their Contribution to Achieving Country's Rapid and Sustainable Growth Goals."

With her experience in leadership and management, Comrade Do Nguyet Anh will work with the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, 14th term, to implement the goals and tasks of the Union's work and the women's movement for the 2026-2031 term; contributing to promoting gender equality, developing female human resources, and enhancing the role of women in leadership, management, digital transformation, and innovation.
