The 110kV feeder line project from the Vu Thu 220kV Substation, located in Thai Binh Province, is a key infrastructure project. It involves the construction of four new 110kV feeder lines from the 220kV substation, with a total route length of approximately 24.7 kilometers.
The project construction commenced on March 16, 2025, and the first phase was energized on May 28, 2025. This project is designed to utilize the capacity of the Vu Thu 220kV Substation, enhancing transmission capability and electricity supply to the Long Boi, Kien Xuong, Vu Thu, and Thai Binh 110kV substations. Notably, the construction was expedited and completed in just over 1.5 months, surpassing the planned schedule. The early energization holds great significance as it immediately enabled the exploitation of 80MVA from the AT1 transformer at the Vu Thu 220kV Substation. It strengthens power supply capacity for local demand, improves the quality of electricity supply in the region, and promptly meets the electricity needs for economic-social development and the livelihoods of the people.
