The conference summarizing production, business, and investment activities in 2024 and deploying plans and tasks for 2025 of the Northern Power Corporation (EVNNPC) was held on the afternoon of January 8 in Hanoi. The production and business results in 2024 show that the total commercial power output of the Corporation reached over 99.25 billion kWh, an increase of 11.83% compared to that in 2023 and surpassing the 4.3 billion kWh plan as assigned by EVN. EVNNPC is also the unit with the largest commercial electricity output among the 5 power distribution corporations of EVN. The total electricity saving output reached over 2.5 billion kWh, reaching 2.25% compared to the commercial output, surpassing the set plan.

By the end of 2024, EVNNPC will supply power to 100% of communes and 99.52% of rural households. The power loss rate will reach about 3.9%, a decrease of 0.2% compared to the plan as assigned by EVN. In addition, the Corporation will also complete 100% of its business and customer service targets.

In 2024, EVNNPC will continue to strongly perform a digital transformation to bring convenience, openness, and transparency to electricity customers. EVNNPC has provided 100% of electricity services in electronic form, level 4, and connected 100% of electricity services to the National Public Service Portal. In 2024, the entire Corporation will receive and resolve new power supply for over 274,000 customers; the average processing time for medium-voltage customers is 3.25 days, a decrease of 0.31 days compared to 2023’s, a decrease of 3.75 days compared to the Group's regulations.

Regarding construction investment, the Corporation has commenced 69 110kV projects; and energized 77 110kV projects, reaching 100% of the plan. The total disbursement value is VND 19,059 billion, reaching 98% of the Corporation's capital plan and equal to 98% of the capital plan as assigned by the Group.

In 2024, the Corporation will pay VND 515 billion to the budget. Regarding credit rating, Fitch Ratings upgraded the Corporation's credit rating to BB+, with a "Stable" outlook, on par with EVN's credit profile and Vietnam's national credit rating.

Chairwoman Do Nguyet Anh also emphasized 7 groups of tasks and targets to be implemented in 2025 for the entire Corporation, including:

1. Ensure absolute safety in production and business activities, for staff, assets, and equipment.

2. Ensure adequate, safe, and stable power supply, and avoid power shortages in any situation.

3. Complete all targets of the 2025 plan, and the 2021-2025 plan and develop a set of targets for the 2026-2030 plan.

4. Implement the restructuring of the apparatus towards a lean, strong, effective, and efficient structure.

5. Apply science, technology, and target programs to modernize the grid, and improve operational efficiency, labor productivity, and work performance for workers.

6. Improve the quality of human resources, and build a team of skilled, professional, and modern workers.

7. Effectively and substantially implement the programs and directions of the Group's leadership on preventing and combating corruption and wastefulness, with specific solutions for inspection and supervision.

At the Conference, EVNNPC also carried out emulation and reward work for collectives and individuals who excellently completed their tasks in 2024.
