On the same day, EVNSPC in coordination with related units energized the 63MVA T2 Transformer Installation work, My Phuoc 4 110kV Substation (Binh Duong province). With a total investment of more than VND 37 billion, when put into operation, the work will contribute to reducing the load on the existing Thoi Hoa 110kV substation, meeting the load demand for My Phuoc 1, 2, 3, 4 industrial parks, Thoi Hoa urban area in 2025 and the following years.
On April 19, EVNSPC, in coordination with the relevant units, energized the newly built 171 bay at the Nam Phu Quoc 110kV substation under the work "Phu Quoc - Nam Phu Quoc 110kV line" (Kien Giang province).
The Phu Quoc - Nam Phu Quoc 110kV line is over 19.8km long, including a 2.5km underground cable line, with a total investment of about VND 650 billion. The work aims to transmit electricity from the Phu Quoc 110kV Substation to the Phu Quoc South 110kV Substation, improving the reliability of power supply to the southern region of Phu Quoc, and promoting the socio-economic development of Phu Quoc city.
In Binh Thuan, EVNSPC, in coordination with relevant units, energized the work to renovate, expand, and increase the capacity of the Ham Tan Substation, from 2x40MVA to 2x63MVA. The project has a total investment of VND 51.4 billion, contributing to ensuring the ability to supply safe, flexible, and continuous electricity to the areas of La Gi town, Ham Tan district, and Tan Duc Industrial Park; at the same time, increasing the power reserve for neighboring areas.
In Soc Trang, EVNSPC has also energized and put into operation the newly built 172 and 112 bays at the Tran De 110kV Substation - Soc Trang 220kV Substation, part of the work "Tran De 110kV Power Line - Soc Trang 220kV Substation".
The Tran De 110kV Power Line - Soc Trang 220kV Substation is over 33km long, with a total investment of nearly VND 127 billion. The work is built to ensure safe and reliable grid operation, increase flexibility in operational management for substations in the region, and transmit the capacity of future renewable energy power plants to the national power system, creating a premise for the gradual development of smart grids.
In Ca Mau, the work "Phase division of 110kV line from Ca Mau 2 220kV substation to An Xuyen 110kV substation", part of the project "Phase division of 110kV from Rach Gia 2 175 bay - Ca Mau 172 bay" has also been successfully energized. The project has a total length of over 161km, with a total investment of nearly VND 170 billion.
The successful energization of the above projects is a great effort of the EVNSPC units.
