In the long term, NSMO needs to promote international cooperation activities to learn from experience, improve the qualifications of the engineering team, perfect the dispatch model, and prepare the infrastructure to meet the requirements of implementing the National Power Development Plan VIII (revised) and the requirements of operating large-scale power systems in the region. At the same time, NSMO needs to actively participate in proposing the construction of new operating mechanisms for the power system in the future, including integrating new energy sources (renewable energy, nuclear power, hydrogen, energy storage systems, etc.), as well as promoting the development of the Vietnamese electricity market, ensuring transparency, fairness, and efficiency.
