The contest is a communication activity within the framework of the National Program on Energy Saving and Efficiency for the period 2019 - 2030, organized to continue promoting the communication and dissemination of legal regulations on energy and energy saving; at the same time, implementing Directive 20 of the Prime Minister on enhancing electricity saving for the period 2023 - 2025 and the following years. All Vietnamese citizens and foreigners living, studying, and working in the country and abroad can participate in the contest.

Contest runs from 08:00 on March 8, 2025 to 12:00 on March 28, 2025

The contest is divided into 3 rounds. Each round consists of 10 questions with a maximum response time of 10 minutes. The questions are designed in a multiple-choice format with content revolving around topics such as energy policy, energy labels, energy saving, electricity saving, Earth Hour, etc.

After each round, the Organizing Committee will award 5 prizes to the 5 best contesters. Of which, 1 contestant with the highest result will receive a prize worth VND 2 million; the remaining 4 prizes are worth 1 million VND/prize.
