The workshop aimed to implement the Electricity Law passed by the 15th National Assembly, updating new regulations on renewable energy, the Direct Power Purchase Agreement (DPPA) mechanism, and regulations on rooftop solar power under Decrees 57/2025/ND-CP and 58/2025/ND-CP. The workshop also disseminated regulations on greenhouse gas inventory as per Decision 13/2024/QD-TTg, as well as shared Ba Ria - Vung Tau's activities in implementing the national program on economic and efficient energy use for the 2021-2025 period.

At the workshop, Mr. Hoang Dinh Lan, Deputy Head of the Business Department of EVNSPC, also shared insights on the new Electricity Law and the implementation of Decrees 57 and 58.
