Southern Power Corporation donates VND 900 million to support the elimination of dilapidated houses in An Giang

On April 21, 2025, An Giang Power Company (An Giang PC), in coordination with the Cho Moi District Party Committee of An Giang Province, held a ceremony to receive sponsorship funding for a program to eliminate dilapidated housing in the province. The funding, totaling VND 900 million, was provided by the Southern Power Corporation (EVNSPC).
At the ceremony, representatives of An Giang PC, on behalf of EVNSPC, handed over funding for the construction of 15 houses, each worth VND 60 million, totaling VND 900 million, to support disadvantaged families in Cho Moi District.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Kieu, Provincial Party Member and Secretary of the Cho Moi District Party Committee, receives sponsorship plaque from Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Quy Hung.
Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Quy Hung – Director of An Giang PC – shared that in response to the Prime Minister’s directive to eliminate temporary and dilapidated housing, EVNSPC decided not to organize any anniversary event for its 50th founding, saving nearly VND 19 billion to support building 315 homes in 21 Southern provinces and cities. In addition, EVNSPC mobilized external funding sources to build another 500 houses, with a total cost of VND 30 billion. Altogether, 815 new homes - 815 sources of joy – 815 families gained new foundations and strengthened confidence to move forward in life.
