100% of EVNHANOI’s customers paying for electricity bills without cash

This statement was made by Mr. Le Anh Duong - Deputy General Director of Hanoi Power Corporation (EVNHANOI) at a workshop on enhancing electronic payment with a focus on developing automatic payment for electricity bills. The workshop took place on December 2 in Hanoi.

29 banking organizations and payment intermediaries cooperation with EVNHANOI discussed and consulted to work out solutions to improve the rate of paying for electricity bills by automatic debits in Hanoi.

According to EVNHANOI’s Deputy General Director Le Anh Duong, since 2013, Hanoi Power Corporation has begun deploying various convenient forms of electricity bill payment, ensuring flexibility and bringing benefits to customers.

Over the past time, EVNHANOI has promoted the application of technologies and cooperated with banks and payment intermediaries to create favorable conditions for customers to make electricity bill payments anytime, anywhere. Up to now, the rate of customers making non-cash electricity bill payments in Hanoi has reached 100%.

EVNHANOI's customers can choose different methods to pay for electricity bills such as automatic account debit, payment via Internet banking/Mobile banking, payment at transaction offices of banks by cash, or transfer, e-wallet (ZaloPay, Momo, Viettel Pay, etc.), QR code, payment at transaction offices of power companies, etc. so that customers can pay for electricity bills anytime, anywhere.
