During 2016, EVNHCMC satisfactorily performed its restructuring and standardization of the company’s management organization, improving its human resource quality, promoting IT applications, contributing to the increase in working productivity; the income of employees was secured with an increase of over 5% compared with the same period of the last year.
In addition, the company successfully energized the project “Construction of new 220kV grid through the forest to supply power to Thien Lieng island, Thanh An island commune, Can Gio”, etc.; focused on facilitating 1,398,442 people including workers, students, house renters’ power usage at the regulated tariff, etc.
In particular, during 2016 EVNHCMC focused its resources on receiving electricity bill payment via banking system and other modern types of payment, reaching 57% up to now. As scheduled, by the end of 2017, there will be no more personnel to receive payments at door.
In order to improve the quality of the services, meeting power demand of residential use and production activities in the coming time, EVNHCMC shall continue to make great efforts in “Enhancing the leadership and fighting ability of executive committees of the communist party at all levels; promoting culture of responsibility; improving working productivity, power supply reliability and service quality”.
The specific target of the year 2017 is to strive to complete 50 underground cable projects (232 km medium voltage, 435 km low voltage), including 16 on-going projects and 34 newly- started projects in 2016.
