Thus, the total number of ASEAN Professional Engineers of EVNHCMC to date is 234 people, accounting for 36.6% of the total number of ASEAN engineers in the whole country (639 people).

Since 2017, training and fostering according to ASEAN Professional Engineer criteria has become one of the important tasks in the high-quality human resource development strategy of EVNHCMC. After being successfully registered, ASEAN engineers will be created conditions to participate in international forums and conferences, participate in learning and sharing experiences with international power companies; be appointed for training to improve qualifications (master's, doctorate); access new technology with priority rights and participated in science and technology and technology transfer projects of EVNHCMC.

At the CAFEO-41 conference, EVNHCMC engineers had the opportunity to approach and discuss some main issues of current concern: innovation in the technical field; construction sustainable cities; Construction issues - BIM; the role of female engineers and young engineers in developing science and technology to promote green economy and green energy. Especially within the framework of the conference, female engineer Tran Thi Phuong Tram (EVNHCMC) represented Vietnam to present a presentation on " The role and contribution of EVNHCMC's women engineers in the power industry in Vietnam”.
