EVN’s leaders working with leaders of TKV and Dong Bac Corporation on coal supply for power generation
At the session, EVN Deputy General Director Ngo Son Hai said that Viet Nam Electricity has made great efforts in sufficient power generation and uninterrupted, stable power supply with increasingly high quality for socio-economic development of the country and the daily life of the residents. In particular, the preparation of coal fuel for the operation of thermal power plants in 2018 and coming years is so important.
EVN Deputy General Director Ngo Son Hai suggested TKV, Dong Bac Corporation enhance information exchange with EVN, closely coordinate supplying - receiving coal for power generation demand, forwards developing a long-term coal supply contract between the parties. In particular, priority is given to coal supply for power generation and coal reserves in power plants, especially before the coming rainy season.
All leaders of TKV and Dong Bac Corporation all confirm their willingness to cooperate with EVN so as to ensure national energy security.
Mr. Nguyen Hoang Trung - Deputy General Director of TKV said the Group would balance, adjust the plan of exploitation and transportation to ensure sufficient coal for power generation.
At the session, the parties also discussed about bidding method for coal transportation, payment situation of contracts and solutions to ensuring the quality of coal and balancing the proportion of coal to be supplied for power generation.
