The Corporation has completed 67 medium - low voltage works with the total number of 257 transformers (total capacity of 145.5MVA); 282.5 km of medium voltage conductor; 330.1 km of low voltage conductor. Additionally, its affiliated units also have performed 51 works under the major repair items as planned.
For 110kV power grid, EVNHANOI promptly put such crucial works into operation as the 110kV transmission line from Long Bien 220kV substation connecting to the 110kV line of Dong Anh - Gia Lam - Sai Dong; 110kV line from 500/220kV substation in West of Hanoi (Quoc Oai) connecting to the 110kV line of Chem - Phuc Tho; power on T2 transformer at Tu Liem 110kV substation, etc., to improve the capacity of load power supply in Hanoi during the hot season.
By the beginning of May, 2018, the Corporation had commenced 4 projects of 110 - 220kV power grid and 139 medium and low voltage power grid works and other investments.
According to the National Centre for Hydro - Meteorological Forecasting, the weather in 2018 is more complicated and the hot weather tends to rise, leading to increasing demands for power consumption of customers. EVNHANOI has strengthened the inspection, monitoring, worked out power supply scenarios, organized the drills for handling hypothetical incident in order to get ready for power supply in hot months.
Commercial power output in April, 2018 of EVNHANOI is estimated to reach 1.3 billion kWh, increasing by 6.98% over the same period of 2017.
