Australian delegation and representatives of EVNGENCO3 at the Corporation's headquarters
The Australian investment delegation includes senior representatives from 14 Australian pension and investment funds. This is considered an important visit after Vietnam and Australia upgraded their bilateral relationship to a comprehensive strategic partnership on March 7, 2024, opening many cooperation opportunities for businesses from both sides in many fields, including the energy sector.
At the meeting, EVNGENCO3 introduced an overview of the Corporation and its development orientations and shared some information about Vietnam's electricity market and related regulations. They also discussed openly and frankly their plans and desires for cooperation in investment activities and the restructuring program of EVNGENCO3 in the coming time.

This is one of the few working programs with the participation of Australia's leading financial institutions to learn about the investment environment in Vietnam. Ms. Rebecca Ball highly appreciated the potential of EVNGENCO3 as well as the good cooperation relationship between Austrade and EVNGENCO3 in recent times.
Ms. Rebecca Ball expressed confidence in Vietnam's development potential, especially in the energy sector. At the same time, she hoped that businesses between the two countries would have more opportunities for investment cooperation in the energy sector in Vietnam, developing new, clean, and green power projects to achieve the goal of energy transition set by Vietnam.
