This rooftop solar PV system operates on the technology of Sembcorp Industries Parks Group (Singapore). Backed by a high-tech digital platform, this power system will connect with the Sembcorp’s Solar Performance Monitoring Centre housed in Singapore, with the aim of robustly operating the system, promptly detecting incidents and troubleshooting when they occur.

On the same day, three parties including the investor of VSIP industrial zones, Becamex IDC Corporation and Sembcorp Industries (Singapore) signed a cooperation agreement to deploy smart and environmentally friendly energy solutions such as solar energy, waste-to-energy, wastewater treatment and water recycling, etc.
According to the newly signed agreement, more than 1,000 factories and businesses in the industrial zones (which are customers of VSIP and Becamex) will install and use rooftop solar PV systems in order to save costs and protect the environment.
