Many targets completed 1 - 2 years ahead of schedule
In 2020, EVNHCMC reached a number of targets ahead of schedule such as reliability of power supply, automation of the power network (two years ahead of schedule); power loss, labor productivity (one year ahead of schedule) ...
General Director of EVN Tran Dinh Nhan praising and congratulating EVNHCMC's achievements in 2020 and in the period 2016-2020
In 2020, EVNHCMC was the first unit in EVN to have successfully trained and put into operation one live-line construction team of 110kV grid in December 2020 and applied advanced repair and maintenance technologies according to equipment operating conditions.
EVNHCMC have completed conversion and is effectively operating 100% of its 110kV substations in unmanned/remote control model; completed the equipment and is effectively operating a mini-SCADA function for 100% of its 22kV power lines, of which 30% of public lines have the DAS/DMS functions (level 2 automation).
In requirements of safety and beauty of the power system, EVNHCMC has ensured "4 NO": No cases of the existing transgression of high voltage power network right-of-ways; No violation of the law on environmental protection; No new arising transgressions of high voltage power network right-of-ways; No electrical accidents arising for people.

EVNHCMC has ensured 100% of electricity supply investment projects to customers through medium voltage network with time to perform procedures related to the power industry of five working days or less, reaching 8/8 technical targets, and one procedure reduced (implementing GIS survey automatically from 1 March 2020). This goal is to achieve the electricity access index of Vietnam in 2020, ranking 24/190 economies, and 4th among ASEAN countries (currently doing business results are not available).
EVNHCMC has actively researched, developed and applied effectively information technology, the achievements of the Fourth Industrial Revolution in all fields of EVNHCMC. EVNHCMC has also put into operation a large and modern Data Center, meeting international standards level 3 in terms of design, construction, with at least N+1 redundancy, 24/7 operation monitoring, capable of high-speed connection and secure information system. Currently, EVNHCMC continues to deploy virtualization solutions for data centers.
Becoming the "flagship" in the power distribution sector
General Director of EVN Tran Dinh Nhan awarding the Emulation Flag of the State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises to collectives with excellent achievements in 2020 of EVNHCMC
EVNHCMC completed 34/34 targets assigned by EVN in implementing the theme of the year "Focusing on comprehensively completing the 5-year plan 2016-2020"; many targets ahead of schedule. The SAIDI is 43 minutes. This is the best index in the distribution sector across EVN. SAIDI reflects all aspects of power quality, grid redundancy, and ensures N-1, N-2 criteria.
EVNHCMC sets a goal of becoming in 2021 a digital enterprise, developing on a par with power companies in advanced countries in the region and in the world.
Some outstanding achievements of EVNHCMC in 2020:
- Power loss: 3.41%, down 0.07% compared to 2019;
- 110kV network maintains operation to meet N-1 standard;
- Power supply reliability: MAIFI: 0.35 times; SAIFI: 0.59 times; SAIDI: 43 minutes;
- Rate of non-cash electricity bill collection: 98.68% of customers, corresponding to 98.53% of the amount collected;
- Rate of online electricity service settlements: 100%;
- Labor productivity: 4.6 million kWh/employee and 446 customers/employee, up 1.5% and 5.4% respectively compared to 2019.
