Immediately after being energized, each line circuit carries a load of 110MW.
Previously, at 8 p.m on July 31, 2022, this route was technically energized to open the entire 500kV line, circuit 3.
CPMB leaders and on-duty shift at the Quang Trach 500kV substation witnessing the moment of energizing and carrying the Vung Ang - Quang Trach 500kV transmission line
The energization of the Vung Ang - Quang Trach 500kV line project has made a significant contribution to completing the entire 500kV line, circuit 3, project, and at the same time helps to release the full capacity of Vung Ang Thermal Power Plant on the national power system, strengthen the transmission capacity of the 500kV power grid, contributing to ensuring power supply for Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, Kon Tum, Da Nang and surrounding provinces.
The Vung Ang - Quang Trach 500kV transmission line from the Vung Ang 500kV Substation (Ha Tinh) to the Quang Trach 500kV Distribution yard (Quang Binh) is more than 32km long.
The overall project of Vung Ang - Quang Trach - Doc Soi - Pleiku 2 500kV transmission line:
