Circulation after storm No. 2 caused heavy rain, landslides, making some electricity poles collapse, talus and anchorage sliding in Son La province. In Mai Son district and Son La city, Son La Power Company restored power supply to affected customers right on August 11.
Particularly in Phu Yen district, the storm circulation has eroded foundations, fallen poles, caused failures in 13 distribution substations, consequently nearly 1,800 customers suffered power supply interruptions.
On the night of August 11, Son La Power Company mobilized manpower to quickly fix the failures and restored power supply to more than 1,600 customers in Phu Yen district.
On August 12, although it was still raining, Phu Yen Power Department kept on making efforts to overcome the failures to restore power supply to the remaining customers.
As of 5 pm on August 12, Son La Power Company has restored power supply to all affected customers in the province.
