EVNHCMC upgrades the power grid system to meet the load demand of high-tech aquaculture households
The project "Rehabilitating and upgrading the power grid system for high-tech aquaculture production in Can Gio district" has a total investment cost of more than VND 22.6 billion.
The project scale includes: rehabilitating and constructing new utility poles; rehabilitating 14 power lines with a total length of more than 17km; upgrading power lines from 1 phase to 3 phase; replacing and increasing the capacity of 25 distribution substations with a total capacity of nearly 4,000kVA.
Despite being affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, EVNHCMC has mobilized their manpower, vehicles, materials and equipment to simultaneously implement the project items to shorten the project construction time. In particular, Ho Chi Minh City Power Service Company has coordinated in doing live-line grid connection to avoid power supply interruption.
When the project comes into operation, it will contribute to solving the local overload situation, ensuring the connection to the power grid of low-voltage substations, improving the power supply reliability, and meeting the needs of local economic development in Can Gio district.
