Hoa Xuan 110 kV Substation (located in Hoa Xuan commune, Cam Le district, Da Nang city) has started being constructed since September 10, 2016. The project’s scale is composed of a 1,811 m long double circuit power line, a newly installed transformer with capacity of 2 x 40 MVA (the first 40 MVA transformer will be installed in the short term, the second transformer will be installed when there is an increase in loads in the region), and the total investment cost of the project is VND 86.687 billion.
Hoa Xuan 110 kV Substation is designed as semi outdoor substation. It will be operated automatically, i.e. the operation of substation will be remotely controlled by Da Nang Power System Control Center.
Up to this moment, to secure electricity supply to APEC 2017, Da Nang Power Company has energized and put into operation Hoa Lien 110 kV Substation, completed uprating two 110 kV Substations An Don and Xuan Ha, upgraded 22 kV power line to supply electricity to Ba Na Hills, etc.
In the coming time, Da Nang Power Company will continue implementing and completing critical projects to serve APEC 2017 such as: Ngu Hanh Son 110 kV Substation and its branch, construction of 22 kV power grid to supply electricity to Road 2/9 and Tuyen Son bridge, etc.
