EVN/EVNNPT reviewed and mobilized specialized staff, engineers, and workers from power transmission companies (under EVNNPT), power corporations, Viettel Group, etc. to support contractors in erecting poles and pulling wires, with the highest effort to complete the project on schedule.
At the meeting, leaders of the contractors also reported on the progress of erecting poles and pulling wires of the packages implemented by the units. Most of the contractors shared about the difficulties in mobilizing human resources to erect poles.
Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the EVN Board of Directors Dang Hoang An said that at the meeting on May 23, the Prime Minister continued to emphasize the importance of the project and directed that the energization must be implemented in June 2024. The time has remained very short (about 32 days), while the remaining workload is very large.
EVN leader requires that units learn from experience and need to make more efforts, increase human resources, and increase construction time to speed up the progress of work items. Especially, under recent unusual weather, it is necessary to arrange a reasonable and effective construction plan, and speed up the progress of erecting poles and pulling wires.
For all locations, when the steel poles arrive at the construction site, there must be workforces to immediately erect the poles. Leaders of construction contractors need to be closer to the construction site to have timely direction for construction forces and closely follow the progress committed to the investor - Chairman of EVN Board of Directors required.
To control progress, contractors participating in the project need to continue to be proactive and closely coordinate at all stages, from supplying steel poles, equipment, and accessories to construction work on site. Above all, it is the sense of responsibility, working together, joining forces with the highest determination to bring the project to the finish line on schedule according to the Prime Minister's direction, for the common benefit of the country, the Chairman of EVN Board of Directors emphasized.
