Diversification and Modernization of Forms of Payment of Electricity Bill

According to the EVN Business Department, as of June 2016, the whole Corporation has over 3.7 million customers paying their electricity bills through banks and intermediary organizations, accounting for 15.51% of total number of customers.

With the goal of creating the most convenience for the customers, the Power Corporations under EVN have had many specific solutions in promoting the service channels to help customers make electricity payment.

Besides the traditional forms of collecting electricity payment (at the collecting locations of the power companies, at the service offices of the power companies and collection at the houses of customers), customers can use the forms of payment   provided by the banks (An Binh Bank, BIDV, Agribank, Sacombank, Techcombank, HDbank, VietinBank); by the intermediary organizations (Ecpay, Payoo); and the BankPlus service of Viettel who have cooperated with the units under EVN in payment collection.

The units have provided many payment methods, creating maximum favorable conditions for customers to choose such as: payment via ATM; Collection/payment orders; automatic extraction from debit accounts, Internet/SMS Banking, payment at the banks ...

In some large cities, customers can pay electricity bills at some convenience stores such as: FPTShop, VinPro, VinPro+, VienthongA, VinMart, VinMart+, NguyenKim, K-market, Home Center, Citimart...

In particular, to actively response to the modernization of electricity payment, many families of the Power Corporation staffs have chosen form of payment through the banks.
