During the meeting, Mr. Masaki Koyanagi, the outgoing Director of the Power System Business Division at TTDV, expressed his pleasure in visiting EVN's headquarters and working with the delegation. He took the opportunity to extend his heartfelt thanks to the EVN leadership for their continued support, which has been instrumental in helping to fulfill his duties in his role.

Mr. Koyanagi also introduced his successor, Mr. Takahiro Kamo, who assumed the position of Director of the Power System Business Division on August 1, 2024. He expressed hope that under Mr. Kamo's leadership, TTDV will continue to strengthen its cooperative relationship with EVN in the coming years.
On behalf of EVN, vice president Mr. Ngo Sơn Hai thanked Mr. Koyanagi for his significant contributions over the years and extended his best wishes to Mr. Kamo as he steps into his new role. Mr. Hai emphasized the importance of continued collaboration between the two organizations.
EVN leadership also expressed a strong desire for Toshiba, as the key supplier of steam turbines and generators for the Vinh Tan 4 power plant, to prioritize assessment and propose solutions that ensure the safe, stable, and long-term operation of the plant’s units. This is particularly crucial as EVN strives to meet the increasing energy demands of the nation.
The meeting also provided an opportunity for both sides to discuss potential new energy projects in Vietnam, including carbon capture technology for power plants, with the mutual goal of enhancing the effectiveness of future cooperation.
For many years, Toshiba has been a valued partner of Vietnam Electricity, working together in the areas of electrical equipment manufacturing, technology transfer, and the supply of generators and turbines for several thermal power plants across Vietnam. Toshiba’s technology is renowned for its focus on environmental protection, energy efficiency, and sustainable development.
