EVNEIC contributes to improvement of the power industry’s image in the community

Mr. Ngo Son Hai – Vice President of Vietnam Electricity (EVN), the General Editor of Power Magazine congratulates all the employees, reporters, editorial staff of the Electric Information Center (EVNEIC) on the occasion of the 92nd anniversary of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 – June 21, 2017).

Reporting to EVN’s Vice President, Ms. Dinh Thi Bao Ngoc – Director of EVNEIC said, despite limited human resources, during the year 2016 and the first five months of 2017, EVNEIC has excellently accomplished all the assignments delegated by EVN.

In particular, EVNEIC has accomplished publication of Power Magazine, Power Sector Management Information Bulletins, Electric Power Science and Technology Information Bulletin with ample contents and increasingly improved quality, etc.

Websites such as www.evn.com.vn, tietkiemnangluong.vn, EVN Corporate Culture column have been stably run to distribute timely, abundant and diversified information of all respects of EVN. The number of visitors to these websites has increased unceasingly.  

The internal television news bulletin EVNnews has increased its broadcasting frequency to two times per week since September 2016 (15 - 20 minutes per time). All of them exceed their timeframe from 20 – 30% (or 3 – 5 minutes per time).

In addition to routine assignments, EVNEIC has performed a great deal of unexpected duties as assigned by EVN. All the duties have been performed with satisfactory quality within timelines, serving significant events of EVN, etc.

“In the coming time, reporters, journalists, and editorial staff of EVNEIC will continue improving their professional competencies; renewing their professional operations, approaching to modern means and technologies to improve labor productivity, effectiveness of press and media products, etc.”, affirmed Ms. Dinh Thi Bao Ngoc.

Highly appreciating EVNEIC’s achievements, Vice President Ngo Son Hai confirmed: "EVNEIC’s reporters, journalists, and editorial staff have been continuously innovative and creative in performing their jobs and genuinely reflected all the lively activities of the power industry to many audiences inside and outside the industry. EVNEIC has significantly contributed to improvement of EVN’s image in the community and to electric power customers”.

In the Anniversary, EVNEIC announced results of the annual competition “Good press and media products in 2016 – 2017” and awards prizes of the competition to excellent authors and products of the Center.
