The Conference to review the work in 2021 and deploy the tasks in 2022 of EVNGENCO 1 took place on 6 January 2022 in Hanoi.
Be proactive in digital transformation
In 2021, the Corporation has ensured the safe and stable operation of the power units, contributing to the safe and stable power supply with EVN to serve the country's socio-economic development. Profitable production and business activities surpassed the targets assigned by EVN; the capital is preserved and developed; the obligations to the State are fulfilled and the life of employees is ensured.

Especially, in the context of the power system and the market operation meet many fluctuations, EVNGENCO 1 has applied digital technology to the power market operation such as Application of AI to price forecast, monitoring production and business operation on mobile, application of automatic data collection tools, payment reconciliation software, etc. Thereby, strengthening the supervision and administration of power generation units to develop suitable methods of operating power plants, improving operational efficiency and reliability, and surpassing targets of power market operation efficiency.
Implementing the 2021 theme on "Digital transformation in Vietnam Electricity", the Corporation has completed many important tasks such as standardizing and digitizing repair and maintenance processes; applying RCM in repair, maintenance and efficient exploitation of equipment; building ship dispatching management and automatically ship dispatching planning software at Duyen Hai Power Center; building electronic operating logs at power plants; building Technical Dashboard (EVNGENCO1 App); intelligent camera monitoring (AI), etc.
In addition, the restructuring, training and development of human resources, communication, building corporate culture, science, technology and environment, etc. also achieved the set targets and plans.

Building EVNGENCO1 into an advanced and modern management unit
In 2021, the Corporation has supplied power in the dry season surpassing the group's assigned output. The Corporation completed achieving 8/9 of the efficiency targets assigned by EVN.

In 2022, EVNGENCO 1 continues to promote the application of science and technology in its operations, especially in administration to build the Corporation into a unit with advanced and modern management levels, access to advanced management methods in the world. At the same time, focus on training and developing human resources.

Some outstanding achievements of EVNGENCO1 in 2021:
- Total power production: 34.230 billion kWh, accounting for 27.7% of EVN's power production and 13.9% of power production and import of the whole system.
- Surpassing the power output in 6 months of the dry season 2021: reaching 19.03 billion kWh, equaling 101.24% of the assigned plan and being the only power generating unit in EVN to surpass the dry season power output plan.
- Many power plants have early completed their annual output plans such as Song Tranh 2 Hydropower Plant (30 November 2021), Dai Ninh Hydropower Plant (4 September 2021), Dong Nai 3 & 4 Hydropower Plants (6 November 2021), Da Nhim – Ham Thuan – Da Mi (1 November 2021); Nghi Son 1 Thermal Power Plant (12 December 2021); Quang Ninh Thermal Power Plant (28 December 2021).
