In October 2017 alone, the Corporation carried out 666 construction turns on live-line. At the same time, equipped with 7 live-line medium-voltage dumpers, raising the total number of teams performing this work on the medium grid to 10 teams.
In addition, some basic solutions to improve the quality and reliability of power supply have been taken by EVNHCMC over the past time such as: energizing 100% of medium voltage line (603/603 lines); 21 high pressure water insulated hygienic washers (including 2 110kV porcelain washers and 19 porcelain washers) were put into use.
EVNHCMC has supplied power stably and safely which met the city’s demand on power for production and living. Commercial power output in the first 10 months of 2017 reached 18.9 billion kWh, increasing in 4.49% over the same period in 2016. Ho Chi Minh City also saved 335.87 million kWh, accounting for 1.77% of commercial power.
As of October 2017, 163,073 homeowners in Ho Chi Minh city signed a commitment agreement to collect the power payment as stipulated. Nearly 1.5 million workers, students and employees renting houses were entitle to power charges at the State-regulated price rates.
