Right in the first quarter of 2022, EVNHCMC has completed energizing and put into operation 4 110kV projects, including rehabilitation of Binh Trieu 110kV substation, Tan Thuan 110kV substation, Thu Duc Dong 110kV substation and rehabilitation of Cat Lai – Sao Mai 110kV transmission line.
EVNHCMC renovated some old 110kV substations into modern GIS substations
In which, the project of rehabilitating Cat Lai - Sao Mai 110kV transmission line has a total investment cost of VND 13.7 billion and has been put into use since February 16, 2022, contributing to improving the reliability and safety of the power supply for Sao Mai Cement Plant and the surrounding area, increasing the static altitude to ensure the safety of storage yards and warehouses of Cat Lai Industrial Park.
In the second quarter of 2022, EVNHCMC will make an effort to complete the entire project "Chanh Hung 110kV substation rehabilitation" before April 30, 2022. This is a project of special significance to District 8 and adjacent areas. EVNHCMC has invested VND 135 billion to upgrade the entire substation into a modern GIS substation.
In addition, in 2022, EVNHCMC will start a number of important projects such as "Renovating Hoa Xa 110kV substation into a GIS substation” with a total investment cost of VND 186 billion; rehabilitating 110kV branch of the Intel substation with a total investment cost of VND 33.4 billion, etc.
Once completed and put into operation, the projects will contribute to modernizing the power system, improving capacity and reliability of power supply, and enhancing operational flexibility and safety of the power system of the city, meeting smart energy infrastructure requirements in the project of building Ho Chi Minh City into a smart and modern city on par with advanced countries in the world.
