EVNNLDC cooperating with School of Electrical Engineering (Hanoi University of Science and Technology) in training and research activities related to power market - power system

On 7 May 2020, Mr. Nguyen Duc Ninh – Director of National Load Dispatch Center (EVNNLDC) worked and signed a cooperation agreement on performing training and scientific research activities with School of Electrical Engineering - Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST).

The objective of this agreement is that the two units jointly research and coordinate to performs works related to training and scientific research activities in the field of power system - power market such as: controlling frequency and voltage, operating power systems upon the dramatic development of renewable energy and the operation of wholesale power market, etc.

On scientific research projects, EVNNLDC will exchange opinions and cooperate with School of Electrical Engineering in practical fields, thereby drawing out solutions to improve the quality of power system and market operation in the coming time.

In terms of training human resources, EVNNLDC will create conditions for the School’s students to perform internship programs in a professional working environment with practical knowledge, making contribution to improving their competence and career orientation in the future. This is an opportunity for EVNNLDC to engage a high-quality workforce, meeting its urgent needs in operating the power system and power market.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Ninh - Director of National Load Dispatch Center shared that the two units’ cooperation agreement will be a start, contributing to promoting their cooperation relations, thereby, enhancing each party’s capabilities and strengths to improve the efficiency of researches, coordinating to implement works related to training activities and scientific researches in the fields interested in both EVNNLDC and the School of Electrical Engineering.
