Commenced on 26 September 2019, with a total investment of over VND 77.6 billion, Bao Lam 110kV Substation and Associated Power Lines Project includes construction of a new single-circuit 110kV power line, with a length of 11. 6km; installation of a new 100kV-25MVA transformer with a remote control switchgear.
On the 35kV side, the project was designed as a sectioned busbar system, using indoor integrated equipment. The 22kV side is equipped with an associated protection and control system, a telecommunication system, SCADA, etc.

The whole project was accepted, energized and put into operation after ten months of construction (two months ahead of the plan’s schedule). This is a remarkable effort by EVNNPC/The Northern Viet Nam Power Projects Management Board, as the project was implemented during the peak of COVID-19 prevention.
EVNNPC Deputy General Director Le Minh Tuan said that the completion and putting into operation of Bao Lam 110kV Substation and Associated Power Lines Project will make an important contribution to safe and stable power supply to Cao Bang province.
Mr. Nguyen Dang - Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Cao Bang Province acknowledged and praised the efforts of EVNNPC in general and Cao Bang Power Company in particular in investing and constructing grid infrastructure, improving power quality to meet local socio-economic development.
On this occasion, the People's Committee of Cao Bang province, Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and EVNNPC awarded certificates of merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the construction of Bao Lam 110kV Substation and Associated Power Lines.
