EVNNPC's credit rating is on par with the national rating and rating by the parent company – Vietnam Electricity (BB/Positive). This result creates a solid foundation for EVNNPC to enhance its capacity to raise finance through more diversified sources, including international capital markets and long-term bond issuance.

According to Fitch Ratings, EVNNPC's rate at BB is thanks to the corporation's position in the field of power distribution in the North, a diversified and stable customer network, with more than 10 million customers, the largest figure among power distribution companies under EVN.

Under the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, EVNNPC's commercial power output is expected to continue to grow at 8% - 9% in the next 3 years.

According to a representative of EVNNPC, Fitch Ratings' credit rating is an important foundation for the corporation to step by step become fully autonomous in mobilizing capital to finance future projects by optimizing capital structure as well as diversifying funding sources.

Previously, in 2021, EVNNPC was also rated 'BB' by Fitch Ratings.
