EVNNPC promotes propaganda of energy saving

​​​​​​​In order to ensure safe and reliable power supply, in February 2020, Northern Power Corporation (EVNNPC) promoted propaganda activities on mass media encouraging customers to use electricity economically and efficiently and came to each customer and offered direct consultation.

 Despite the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic, power load in the North kept increasing highly in February 2020

Specifically, EVNNPC organized propaganda about power saving 1,124 times on radio, 52 times in newspapers, 32 times on local television stations; and offered 8,568 consultations on economical and efficient use of electric energy directly to its customers.

Also in February 2020, although production, business, services activities in the country in general and in ​​27 Northern provinces and cities in particular, were affected by COVID-19 epidemic, the salable electrical output of EVNNPC reached 5.15TWh, an increase of 11.04% compared to the same period in 2019.

All 14 customer service indexes were in compliance with the regulations. EVNNPC received applications and carried out power supply to 123 new MV customers in an average time of 5.15/7 days, down 1.85 days compared to the regulations.

Power losses were kept at 4.67%, down 0.38% over the same period in 2019; the system average interruption duration index (SAIDI) was 239.58 minutes.

Regarding electric non-cash payment, in February 2020, the rate of non-cash payment of electric bills of EVNNPC reached 45.14%; in which the proportion of customers paying through banks reached 14.16%.

Especially, in the first two months of 2020 accumulated, 15,328 employees of EVNNPC had registered accounts to use the service through the National Public Service Portal.
