EVNNPT completing 500/220kV transmission line of Hiep Hoa - Dong Anh - Bac Ninh 2

The 500/220kV line of Hiep Hoa - Dong Anh - Bac Ninh 2 is a special-grade energy work of group A with a total investment of over VND 1,769 billion invested by the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT), the project is managed by the Management Board of Northern Power Projects, on behalf of EVNNPT, the management and operation after completion of the project shall be undertaken by Power Transmission Company No.1.

One section on 500/220kV transmission line of Hiep Hoa - Dong Anh - Bac Ninh 2

The project has a construction scale of 1-circuit 500kV line combining 2-circuit 220kV line in the same column and two branches to Dong Anh 220kV Substation and Long Bien 220kV substation with a total length of about 48.4 km. At the same time, the feeder is expanded at Hiep Hoa 500kV substation.

The line runs through the areas of Hiep Hoa district (Bac Giang province); Soc Son, Dong Anh, Gia Lam, Long Bien Districts (Hanoi city); Yen Phong, Tien Du districts, Tu Son township (Bac Ninh province).

After this project has been completed, it will connect the entire cluster of projects in the North East of Hanoi city, including: 500/220kV transmission line of Hiep Hoa - Dong Anh - Bac Ninh 2, Hiep Hoa 500kV substation, Dong Anh 500/220kV substation, Pho Noi 500kV substation, 500/220kV line of Bac Ninh 2 - Pho Noi and 220kV substations of Bac Ninh 3, Long Bien and Bac Ninh 2. Thereby, the demand for load in key economic areas in the North Delta, the North-east of Hanoi, Bac Ninh province and neighbouring provinces is met; supporting the flexible operation and efficient exploitation of power system in the North.
