EVN’s mission is inspecting Trung Son Hydropower Project implementation schedule
Power units No.1, 2 and 3 of Trung Son Hydropower Project have been synchronized into the national power grid; the rotor of power unit No.4 has been successfully installed and this power unit is being under testing and adjustment so as to be put into commercial operation in June 2017.
The resettlement activities have met requirements of the World Bank and the local authorities. The resettled people have been settled down in their new residences and concentrated on economic development.
“The remaining works are not numerous but the entire project team should not be subjective” – President and CEO Dang Hoang An remarked and asked the project owner, contractors, and consultants to coordinate in dealing with remaining difficulties in order to energize the last power unit and accomplish the entire project on schedule.
During the project site inspection, the top leader of Vietnam Electricity recognized and complimented the efforts made by relevant organization in implementing the Trung Son Hydropower Project with satisfactory quality and on schedule.
As per schedule, the whole project will “reach destination” in August 2017.
