In the first 4 months of the year, EVNGENCO3 has generated 8.3 billion kWh, exceeding the assigned plan
At the meeting, Power Generation Corporation No.3 reported to the Group's leadership on the production and business situation. EVNGENCO3's generation structure is quite diverse, including hydropower, gas turbines, coal thermal power, and solar power, thereby the Corporation can respond promptly and flexibly to dispatching orders of the National Load Dispatch Center, contributing to improving reliability in electricity supply.
The electricity generation output in the first 4 months of 2024 of the parent company EVNGENCO3 is 8.3 billion kWh, reaching 126.8% of the 4-month plan assigned by the Ministry of Industry and Trade. This is a great effort of the Corporation to ensure electricity supply for the country, in the context of a sharp increase in electricity demand.

The Corporation estimates the electricity generation output for the whole year 2024 to be 25.349 billion kWh, 3.012 billion kWh higher than the plan assigned by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
As for coal-fired thermal power plants, the Corporation prepared sufficient coal for electricity generation in the first months of 2024. The current coal inventory level of the plants meets regulations.
As for gas supply, EVNGENCO3 has signed an extension of the gas supply contract with Vietnam Gas Corporation (PV GAS) until the end of 2033 with an offtake volume of 1.85 Sm3/year, including both domestic natural gas and LNG, meeting operation requirements and effectively addressing urgent needs during periods of load increase.
