This is one of the services being provided by the Southern Power Corporation to their electric consumers (EVNSPC) when EVNSPC and Viettel sign an agreement on information technology application to serve for electric consumers.
The signing ceremony was held on February 16, 2017 with the aim of providing information technology applications in such areas as management, administration, confidentiality, customer services, automation and power failure oversight.
Based on this agreement, electric consumers may pay their electric bills via mobile phones; receive bill information, outage schedule via messages; electronic bills enable customers to save costs of printing, storage, transport of paper bills and to avoid bill losses, etc.
In parallel, EVNSPC is carrying out electronic power meter reading solutions by PLC, GPRS technologies; remote electronic power meter reading solutions by 3G technology which allow warning of abnormal events of power meters, enhancing power system management and operation; management solutions, electronic office application help improve the centralized management efficiency, human resource management, asset management, financial management, etc.
