The contractor performs the final project items of the second circuit of Phong Tho - Than Uyen 110 kV transmission line.
Under the Prime Minister’s direction, the Project of second circuit of Phong Tho - Than Uyen 110 kV transmission line and connection line after Than Uyen 220 kV substation was implemented synchronously with other power generation and network projects approved in the power development master plan of Lai Chau province with the aim of developing and upgrading the existing power grid system, undertaking security and national defense, socio - political stability and economic development in the highland border areas of Lai Chau province
The project has a total investment cost of VND 306.406 billion, the whole 110 kV transmission line is 84.9 km long, including a section of 02 newly built circuits, a section of 01 newly built circuit and a section of 01 upgraded circuit.
After completion, the project will contribute to satisfying the power transmission requirement and improving the efficiency of capacity transmission of small and medium hydropower plants in the North West region to the Than Uyen 220 kV substation.
