From 2000 to 2017, EVN has sent 326 employees to study different specialties abroad, according to this cooperation program, including 8 PhD’s and 318 master’s degrees.
Most of EVN’s employees have graduated from AIT programs at good or excellent levels. Training programs organized by the Asian Institute of Technology are diversified and in line with the need to improve professional qualifications of EVN’s employees in service of their works.
According to the Organization and Personnel Department of Vietnam Electricity, many AIT graduates have been promoted to higher positions or appointed to important positions.
Between 2017 and 2022, EVN will continue signing and implementing a memorandum of cooperation with the Asian Institute of Technology on postgraduate training abroad. During this period, AIT commits itself to reducing tuition fees for 12 credits in the Master's programs and 21 credits in the Doctoral programs.
The reduced tuition fees are based on the number of students enrolled in AIT programs annually and available to all AIT partners. For EVN only, deans of AIT schools include School of Management (SOM), School of Engineering and Technology (SET), School of Environment and Rural Development (SERD) have confirmed that they will continue to support 25 % tuition fee for each EVN student, not subject to the number of students.
