The conference aims to disseminate and introduce basic knowledge about innovation activities, at the same time to master and assign tasks to the units to conduct the survey, as a basis for completing the Project on Improving innovation capacity in EVN. The conference is connected online from EVN to its units nationwide.

Directing at the conference, EVN Vice President Nguyen Xuan Nam emphasized that innovation plays a very important role in the sustainable development of enterprises. He wishes that, in the coming time, all staff and employees of Vietnam Electricity will join hands to build the Project on Improving innovation capacity in EVN to promote innovation activities, contributing to improving production and business efficiency and labor productivity.
Accordingly, innovation will be deployed in all fields: power sources; power transmission; power business and distribution; power system dispatching; ancillary services and administration of EVN. The project aims to create a favorable environment for innovation in EVN, to improve innovation capacity and innovated administration system; to support the pursuit and implementation of EVN's strategic development orientations quickly and effectively; to improve the quality and efficiency of EVN's administration system.
The project will also contribute to raising awareness about innovation; building a culture of innovation; training to improve innovation capacity in units and individuals under EVN; to propose and create an appropriate legal framework for an innovation environment; to build and develop implementation processes for specific innovation projects; to build an innovation management system; to propose and implement some innovative component projects to support EVN in pursuing the implementation of strategic development orientations in Decision 538/QD-TTg.
