This is the first workshop in a workshop series on the carbon neutrality and equitable energy transition roadmap with the participation of the Power sectors of countries receiving support from the European Union (EU) and AFD.
Vietnam Electricity and the French Development Agency in Vietnam attended the workshop from the Hanoi video point.
At the workshop, EVN discussed the main challenges facing the group in the energy transformation and innovation process; EVN's main strategic orientation from a business toward the goal of net-zero emissions by 2050 perspective; Sharing experiences in integrating rooftop solar power and managing renewable energy sources, etc.
Attending the workshop, the French Power Transmission Network shared their experiences, methodologies and key research results on France's energy roadmap to 2050; South African Electricity Corporation presented the process of equitable energy transition strategy evaluation; Indonesian Electricity Corporation shares its strategy toward Indonesia's energy transformation, etc.
Delegates also had a lively exchange and discussion about the actual operating practices of enterprises as well as difficulties and challenges in the process of implementing the net-zero goal.
