Since 2011, JINED and EVN have implemented many bilateral cooperation programs, of which 3 "core member" training courses provided by JINED on developing high-quality human resources in power sector for 32 EVN’s students were completed successfully. Currently, many students from this program are still working, being dedicated to the overall development of EVN.

Mr. Shimizu Shigenobu stated that JINED is willing to support the "core members" students to continue studying with Japanese experts by online training forms. Besides, JINED wants to expand its fields of cooperation with EVN in the diversified fields of energy sector.
EVN’s General Director Tran Dinh Nhan highly appreciated the effectiveness of the supporting programs provided by JINED and emphasized that there are many opportunities for their bilateral cooperation in the future.
Vietnam is encouraging the development of renewable energy sources such as wind power, solar power, etc., in order to enhance the scale of power sources. However, EVN also faces some certain challenges in ensuring stable operation of its electrical systems when these power sources to the grid. EVN is willing to cooperate with JINED to exchange and share experiences in developing solar power, operating electrical systems; as well as continue to implement training programs, improving the quality of EVN’s human resources.
