Minister of Information and Communications: I see EVN's desire in digital transformation

Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Information and Communications highly appreciated Vietnam Electricity (EVN) for its proactive proposal to organize the meeting for discussing the topic of digital transformation. The meeting took place on 21 August 2020, in Hanoi, and online connected by EVN to more than 200 stations at its member units nationwide.

The Minister entrusts his confidence in EVN

Minister Nguyen Manh Hung affirmed that when it performed successfully its digital transformation, EVN would be able to spread the outcome to other branches and fields. EVN has many opportunities in digital transformation, with the advantage of being a strong corporation, having a thriving financial potential, a large scale infrastructure, owning many data sources and easily connected to its partners. Through discussions and working with EVN, I can see its aspiration. EVN should be the pioneer in successful digital transformation in Vietnam, not targeted to 2025, but earlier, to 2022. I strongly trust it.
