Nghi Son Thermal Power Company has contributed more than 22 billion kWh of electricity to the national power system. Its annual power outputs have always reached or surpassed the plan. Shutdown rates for maintenance, auxiliary power rate and fuel consumption rate are all lower than the permissible limit.
Environmental parameters such as pollutants in flue gas and wastewater are continuously monitored by an automatic monitoring system, ensuring the criteria according to Vietnamese standards are met. The plant's ash, slag and plaster are all consumed as construction materials.
In particular, for many years, the company has applied information technology, science and technology and digital transformation in operation management, applied barcode in material management, administrative management, etc. thereby contributed to improving operational efficiency and labor productivity.
Reporting at the meeting, Director of Nghi Son Thermal Power Company Vo Manh Ha said: Nghi Son Thermal Power Plant has a capacity of 600MW, commercial operation of Power Unit 2 on 11 December 2014 and of Power Unit 1 on 8 May 2015, the total output to date is more than 22 billion kWh. Since it's going into operation, the plant has carried out two times of medium repair and two times overhaul.
In 2021, the company aims to ensure the safe, reliable and efficient operation of the power units, a power output of 3.585 billion kWh, and an availability coefficient of 91.78%. The company continues to improve production and business efficiency and labor productivity; continues to promote the application of science and technology and take advantage of the Industrial Revolution 4.0; accelerates digital transformation in all fields of activity, etc.
