Mr. Le Quang Hung, Vice Minister of Ministry of Construction chaired the meeting
The State Acceptance Council, headed by Deputy Minister of Construction Le Quang Hung, examined the completion acceptance of Duyen Hai 3 Thermal Power Plant Extension project on May 6 – 7, 2020.
The State Acceptance Council inspected the construction site, the central control house, checked the commissioning of Duyen Hai 3 Thermal Power Extension Plant and the Quality Management Document of Duyen Hai 3 Thermal Power Plant Extension project.
Deputy Minister Le Quang Hung highly appreciated efforts of the parties, as well as the project quality management. Duyen Hai 3 Thermal Power Plant Extension project has been operating stably during the trial run, the quality of construction and equipment installation of the contractor has been considered as satisfactory as compared to design requirements and the EPC contract.

Duyen Hai 3 Thermal Power Extension Plant is of particular importance in ensuring electricity for the socio-economic development of the South in particular, contributing to the stable power supply for the country's economic development and for daily life activities of the people in the country in general.

Duyen Hai 3 Thermal Power Plant Extension project:
- As one of the key projects by Power Generation Corporation 1, represented by Thermal Power Project Management Unit 3 as the project management consultant.
- As a coal-fired thermal power plant, including 1 unit of 688 MW, using axial boiler, supercritical steam pressure technology.
- Total investment cost: Over VND 22,774 billion.

+ Commencement of reliable run from March 13, 2020
+ Completion of reliable run on April 12, 2020
