Officially energizing the first power unit into the national grid on April 23, 2006, the 20 billion kWh milestone marked the process of painstaking and creative working efforts, and proactively overcoming all difficulties of many generations of employees of Ialy Hydropower Company in general and Se San 3 Hydropower Company in particular.

Over the past years, Se San 3 Hydropower’s employees have closely coordinated with the National Load Dispatch Center and EVN’s Power Service Center to manage the safe and efficient operation of the plant, exploiting and regulating the reservoir according to procedures, promoting digital transformation; synchronously deploying technical management measures, and at the same time properly implementing plans for maintenance of equipment and construction structures, ensuring the safety and reliability of power units, equipment systems and structures.
Se San 3 Hydropower Plant, together with Ialy and Pleikrong Hydropower Plants, have contributed to supplying sufficient electricity to serve the country's economic development, maintaining energy security, stabilizing the national power grid system, and bringing electricity to remote areas, borders, islands.
