Se San Hydropower Development Company plans to surpass 15% power output of yearly plan

By the end of October 2018, total production power output of the Company reached 1.42 billion kWh, completing the yearly plan assigned by Viet Nam Electricity. Currently, the company has been exploiting power under the command of the National Load Dispatch Centre and at the same time stored water in reservoirs to normal water level for the dry season of 2019.

Se San Hydropower Development Company gave reasonable operation plan to early reach its yearly plan

In the first 3 quarters of 2018, the average flow to Se San 4 Hydropower Reservoir reached 535m³/s, creating favourable conditions to exploit the highest capacity of 3 generator units of the plant.

The company has implemented 24 major repair categories. With effective solutions, the total repair time is 14 days shortened, contributing to the achieved production results.

Se San 4 Hydropower Plant is one of the key national projects on Se San River, located in Gia Lai and Kon Tum provinces. The plant started generating power since 2009.

Se San Hydropower Development Company:

- Established under Decision No. 43/QD-EVN dated January 29, 2010 by EVN

- Operation management of Se San 4 Hydropower Plant consists of 3 generator units with total capacity of 360MW

- Average output: about 1.4 billion kWh/year.

- The plant is located on Se San River in Gia Lai and Kon Tum provinces.
