The bid package of power supply to Chieng Hac commune is part of the Program of power supply to rural, mountainous and island areas in the period of 2013-2020 (referred to as Program 2081).
The project has a total investment of more than VND12 billion, supplying power to 323 households in four villages: Cang, Co Say, Pa Hoc and Hang Hoc.

The package includes building of four distribution substations, 8,921m of 35kV power line. Each household was provided with an energy meter, an electric board, a lamp and electric wire installed behind the meter.
Power delivery to the last four villages in Chieng Hac commune resulted in the fact that all the villages in Yen Chau district now had access to the national power grid.
Mrs. Ha Thi Mai, Chairwoman of Chieng Hac Commune People’s Committee, said that these villages were the last ones to be connected to the national grid, so the people were really excited and happy. Power supply will facilitate pumping water and irrigating fruit trees, thereby contributing to improving productivity, quality and economic efficiency.
Together with the households in Chieng Hac commune, just before the Lunar New Year of 2020, nearly 2,000 households in the province of Son La have access to the national grid, increasing the percentage of households using power in Son La province to 96%.
