The EVNHES software of EVNICT achieved Sao Khue award 2019

The product of electronic meter data collection software (EVNHES) of EVN Information and Communication Technology Company (EVNICT) was voted as a representative software product and IT services of Viet Nam. It was recognized Sao Khue Award in 2019. Announcement and award Ceremony, held by Viet Nam Software and IT Service association, in Hanoi on 21/4/2019.

This is also the 8^thtime that Sao Khue Award is granted to EVNICT for their development of software product. EVN HES software has been designed and developed by EVNICT following the direction of Electricity of Vietnam since 2015 and checked and put into use since 2017.

The software system has the function of establishing a list of measuring points, reading electronic meter data, analyzing and processing data as well as monitoring data collection.

If, previously, EVN units had to use 5 to 6 different systems to manage equipment systems (due to different technologies), presently, EVNHES software could be applied to all types of meters on the grid.

Mr. Pham Ngoc Hien - Deputy Director of EVNICT said: “EVNHES is designed to unify technology and data collection software in order to improve transparency and increase labour productivity of power units. The system allows connection, integration with MDMS software, EVN measurement database, CMIS, PMIS to integrate measurement data used in the process of billing, building grid information and doing research on power-load .”

Electricity of Vietnam uses EVNHES as a unified management tool to modernize management and improve operating efficiency through IT applications. This makes it easier for units to monitor and handle the overall task of the entire project lifetime through a single system to avoid the situation of synthesizing information from many different systems.

Currently, EVNHES is applied at 5 power companies and 4 power transmission companies with the number of 1 million measuring points. In 2019, the number of measuring points expected to be applied EVNHES is 5 million points and conducted in line with the roadmap of EVN.

In 2019, Organizing Board selected 94 nominations for 2019 Sao Khue Award.

8 EVNICT’s products were granted the Sao Khue Award, including: Customer management information system (CMIS); Public Telecommunications software (T3S); Electric market software; Electronic Invoice management systems software; Information system for technical management of power grid; Technical management software for power plants; Investment Management Information Systems (IMIS); EVNHES.
