In 2023, HCMCCL received 29 applications from 15 units submitted to participate in the Ton Duc Thang Award and selected 11 most outstanding individuals to be honored. In which, 2 individuals belong to EVN, including Mr. Phan Hoang San - Director of Ho Chi Minh City Customer Care Center (Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation), and Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phuong - Deputy Head of Technical Department, Power Transmission Company 4 (National Power Transmission Corporation).

Specifically, Mr. Phan Hoang San has 18 years of working with Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation (EVNHCMC), including 12 years working at the Customer Care Center. Among his valuable technical innovation initiatives, the most prominent is the initiative "Link data 2 programs OMS2 blackout management and PMIS engineering management". The initiative is evaluated as having great significance in terms of data synchronization of internal technical management. Mr. Phan Hoang San has achieved many successes and was granted the certificate of "ASEAN Professional Engineer" in 2018.

And Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phuong (Power Transmission Company 4) has 27 years of experience in the profession. From 2016 up to now, he has had 8 initiatives to gain benefit more than VND 21 billion. Typically, the initiative "Setting logic to automatically create relay records to record voltage graphs when switching circuit breakers K503 and K504 at Song May 500kV Station"; “Building up a process for repairing and maintaining 110kV voltage transformers according to CBM operating conditions”; “Handling OUTPUTs, testing the INPUT trigger pulse monitoring time of the SIEMENS SWT3000 F85 relay when the special dismissal circuit system is put into operation according to the capacity on the North-South 500kV transmission line", the initiative "Setting up a control and monitoring system for compartments 236 and 237 of Nha Be 500kV substation", and so on.
The Ton Duc Thang Award is a city-level noble award, established in 1999 to honor engineers and workers with good qualities, with many research topics, new initiatives, and solutions that bring value to units, and businesses as well as contribute to the community. So far, this noble award has honored 242 outstanding individuals.
