The project has a total investment of VND 262.35 billion invested by the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT), managed and implemented by CPMB.
Accordingly, at Quy Nhon, Nha Trang, Krong Buk 220 kV and Pleiku 500 kV substations, the existing 220/110 /22kV-125 MVA transformers will be replaced with 220/110/22kV-250 MVA transformers. At Bao Loc 220 kV substation, the existing 220/110/35kV-63 MVA transformer will be replaced with 220/110/22kV-125 MVA transformer.
The project aims to secure safe and reliable electricity supply for loads in Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak, Lam Dong, Gia Lai provinces; enhancing the stability, safe operation of the power grid, reducing capacity losses, power losses of the grid.
After the Ground Breaking Ceremony, CPMB will focus on directing, managing, coordinating closely with related organizations to implement the project, with the aim of energizing the upgraded Nha Trang 220 kV transformer at the end of December 2017, the remaining transformers will be energized in the fourth quarter of 2018 and in 2019.
